Tether, a company that provides stable coins $USDT, has invested $10 million in the DeFi lending network Celsius.
The Celsius network is a lending program using the Ethereum blockchain, which distributes interest worth $2 million while handling assets worth $638 million.
“We are pleased to be able to offer our users USDT-based services with the investment from Tether International,” said Alex Mashinsky, CEO of Celsius.
Celsius is a DeFi lending network that allows you to lend crypto assets and earn interest and borrow cash.
Tether has previously invested in the DiFi, and recently invested in the lending protocol Aave.
