It has a little weight 1.29kg and I feel it’s a little bit heavy when I hold it up by one hand. The body is made of 100% recycled Aluminum.

macOS Catalina

All features of Mac is supported thanks to macOS Catalina. This is the latest version of the operating system for Mac, and it is the Apple’s 16th release of macOS for Macintosh computers. The name Catalina came from an island located at Southern California called Santa Catalina Island. It is the successor to macOS Mojave and precedes macOS Big Sur. Big Sur is planned to be released in 2020 later.

In this version of macOS, you cannot see iTunes app anymore because it is eliminated. iTunes app was split into three individual apps: Music, Podcasts, and TV.

Thoughts

When I turned it on for the first time, I was surprised that it automatically turned the power on after I opened the display. It even starts up automatically later on every time I use. If it doesn’t start automatically, you can push the Touch ID button which is the power button.

The one more thing I’ve noticed that it’s easy to open up the display when I start using it. Hinge part is moderately solid. It uses a magnet to stick display and keyboard body. The weight of the bottom part of the body is balanced. The new type of Mac is designed by adjusting perfectly.
